Why Is Early Diagnosis of CKD Important?

You need to take control of your kidney health. And getting screened for CKD is one of the easiest and most important steps you can take.

People aged 60 years and over have a higher prevalence of CKD1 and should talk to their doctor about their kidney health. In addition, younger people at higher risk for CKD should also make it a priority.

These high risk groups include people with2:

  • Diabetes

  • High blood pressure

  • A family history of kidney disease
